Are you interested in hearing about an amazing family who has dedicated over two decades to hosting and volunteering with AFS? Let us introduce you to the Lauziers, an AFS Global Family!

Back in 1998, Aline and her husband René became an AFS Global Family for a young Icelandic student, and it changed their lives forever. They quickly became volunteers and have since welcomed nine students into their home, keeping in touch with each of them and even attending some of their weddings. Now, they’re proud AFS Global Grandparents!

Their dedication to the AFS mission has not only impacted their own lives but has also inspired their community. They’ve built a strong, autonomous team and developed tools and methods that encourage everyone in AFS Canada. They are a true testament to the power of volunteering and the impact it can have on the world.
