Forge Our Shared Future by Donating to AFS

Our vision at AFS is to help build a more peaceful, just, equitable and sustainable future. We are proud to invite you to share this vision by supporting our 2024 campaign, “Forge Our Shared Future.”

To forge a shared future that is better for all, the world needs more active global citizens: people whose informed, compassionate, and ethical compass drives them to lead lives and make decisions that contribute to a better world. And this year, we are committing to raising $100,000 USD for the AFS Global Impact Fund to help such a future to become reality.

Your support will directly enable a new strategic plan for AFS that focuses on several important innovations:

  • Scholarships for 50% of all AFS participants;
  • Educator tools and resources that encourage global citizenship;
  • Volunteer engagement that creates the best, most active, and most well-equipped volunteer experience possible.

Ultimately, “Forge Our Shared Future” and the new AFS strategic plan aim to deliver excellence and impact in our diverse range of programs so that more people—youth, adults, and families—experience the #AFSeffect.

Why I donate

“For 30 years, AFS has provided a variety of unique opportunities for hundreds of children of HSBC employees to live and study overseas. We watched them grow into confident, resilient, mature and culturally aware young adults—some of the very qualities that HSBC values in our people,”
