What was Sentio?

Sentio was an international, voluntary, non-governmental, non-profit organization that provided intercultural learning opportunities to help people develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to create a more just and peaceful world.

At its dissolution, Sentio was an NGO with 55 member organizations globally providing intercultural learning for 18+ participants through exchange & the AFS Global Competence Certificate (GCC).

Three primary achievements from Sentio are a continued commitment to the GCC, 18+ programming and welcoming a number of Global Affiliates into the AFS Network.
