Generous support from Dr. Sabrina Ho will provide scholarship and support for AFS Youth Assembly

New York | September 24, 2024 – AFS Intercultural Programs is thrilled to announce the establishment of the AFS Fund for Global Peace and Justice, thanks to a generous $100,000 gift from distinguished philanthropist, entrepreneur, and academic scholar Dr. Sabrina Ho.

The AFS Fund for Global Peace and Innovation will help inspire and enable the most promising youth from around the world to address global challenges and develop their capacity to be engaged and resourceful global citizens, working to make the world a more just and peaceful place.

The fund will initially provide sponsorship support as well as individual scholarships for young leaders from around the world to attend the AFS Youth Assembly. In future years, the Fund will be expanded to include broad support for different AFS initiatives that advance intercultural exchange, peace and justice.
