The first ever AFS Staff Learning Week (October 25-29, 2021) was an exciting and productive milestone for our global team. Over the course of 5 days, 400 AFS staff from 50 AFS organizations participated in 60 different virtual sessions that focused on topics related to AFS programs, organizational development, marketing and other areas of work crucial for achieving our impact. Through different sessions, the AFS staff from around the world connected with each other to build a sense of community and have fun while learning.

This week was an opportunity for team building, taking the time for our own development, showcasing best practices, and aligning our priorities. Here’s what some of the participants shared about the program:

“A great opportunity to learn, relax and get to know other staff around the world.”

“Interesting session: well-conducted, in a dynamic and constructive way. I had very good interactions with the other participants.”

“The content was on-point, educative and of a high level! Thank you for supporting us when we need it.”
