In January 2023, we updated the global AFS online privacy policy, mainly to:
- Remove outdated information, such as references to tool no longer in use (e.g. World Cafe’ and Sentio websites);
- Provide more details about how we use personal data
- Expand the cookies section and move it into a separate policy.
As a reminder this global policy covers all AFS websites to provide key information to our web users in a standard and comprehensive manner. In addition every AFS member organization can have a specific privacy policy for its national website to provide additional information about how that organization collects, processes, shares, and store personal data. This global policy specifically refers to the fact that AFS member organization can also have their own local policy to share additional information.
